The IPSO Gear Drying Cabinet comes standard with five suit racks & can handle from one to five fire suits at a time.  It is shown here with the optional boot rack (two pairs of boots per rack) and an optional glove rack (four pairs of gloves per rack.)

 

The Drying Gear Cabinet operates wtih two separate heated air systems.  One system dries the turnout gear by blowing warm air through the hangers into the garments & out the arms & legs, thus drying from the inside.  The other system blows warm air from the sides of the cabinet around the garments

Controls

The IPSO Microprocessor Control is designed to manage the drying & cooling cycles of the gear cabinet.  The controller is programmed from the factory with five different default programs as described below.  The Operator has the flexibility to select the time for the drying & cool down cycles, as well as the drying temperature.  The operator may also reprogram the default programs.

  1. Drying time: 0-180 minutes
  2. Cooling time:  2-60 minutes
  3. LED display of cycle time, set temperature & actual temerpature.
  4. Thermistor controlled temperature.
  5. Buzzer for end cycle, audible alarm
  6. Five user programmable programs
  7. Monitors the thermistor for operation
